This is all ridiculous and not even in a fun way. I can barely keep up with what is happening and who is who. Also, Naomi, you should have just punched the main character, taken the keys and left. You didn't deserve any of this. The rest of these people are awful.

This is amazing.

This book is on very thin ice.

I couldn't figure out what was bothering me about this book until I read some of the other reviews. Performative. That's what bothers me. The main characters interrupting the plot to be like "You're not being feminist right now." or something similar is just grating. If your characters actually believe these things, they shouldn't have to shout out they do every two minutes.

This author just used the phrase "unalived themselves." Am I the only one who really doesn't like when internet speak is used in the actual meat of the book? This wasn't spoken or texted, this was just the character thinking. If this were a book about an influencer or told in the form of texts/comments/internet stuff, okay. But this book about life and death and angels and demons? It took me right out.

Hmmm. This isn't bad, but I think it is for a younger YA audience. It's very repetitive sometimes and the sentences are very short.

Oh my god. They're SO. STINKIN. CUTE.

These people are coming to these conclusions SO quickly. Just like in the other book. Why are we not suspecting these people that are looking at something and saying oh hey, this is probably MuRdEr.

Wait a minute....

MY GOD. NO WARNING? JUST WOW OKAY. What a deceptively cute cover.

Rocky really is the best part of this whole experience.

I'm FINALLY getting around to reading all of my overdue library books.

I'm literally reading this for Rocky, and he is finally here.
