Ugh this is why authors shouldn’t narrate their own audiobooks unless they’re trained.

Oh this is bad.

Things I enjoyed: learning fun archeological facts about some really cool sites all over the world.

Things I didn’t enjoy: the author’s lengthy lists of famous people they know. Why on earth did every chapter have weird narratives about conversations with scientists?! Such a bizarre decision, it really took me out of it. Also, we get it, you don’t like Jared Diamond. Yikes.

Wonderful book. Wish I’d read it before a few of the independent health/biology books I’d read lately as it definitely shines compared to them!

Finally picking up!

It's getting to be a bit of a chore.
