This is a really good book, but I would suggest reading it instead of listening to the audio version. It's not great and parts of it sound like it's being read by a robot.

A mystery with some history thrown in? Yes, please! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Such a great story. I did think it was interesting the author felt the need to tell the reader what kind of car each character was driving. He mentioned that the main character drove a Flex so many times I wondered if he was getting paid for each mention. Great read!

I did think it was interesting that the author felt the need to call out the name of the car each character drove. The main character especially, the author tells us that he had a Flex so many times that I wondered if the car companies were paying him for every mention of their products.

I trudged through this awful book. The characters are unrelatable and unlikeable. The title character, Clare, is especially annoying and whiny. This book could have been half as long if the author didn't go into excruciating detail about every single thing the characters see and do. I've never been so happy to finish a book.
