OMG I'm hating this book so much. The de facto antagonist is so infuriating, especially when the protagonist believes her because of her own bias. It's also moving so slow, I felt like it should have been over long ago but when I checked I was only halfway through! It's like torture to read.

Ok I'm officially giving up. We finally get a HINT of a plot (which BTW should have happened MUCH earlier than 1/3 through) and instead of the story moving forward it gets bogged down in a minutely detailed (gross) torture scene. This is not how I want to spend my time.

Waiting for this to get enjoyable. So far it's really not. Going to give up soon if it doesn't get better. Too much talking, and not fun talking.
