I am having a hard time wrestling through this book. It's too verbose that I imagine too many things and I'm trying to make sense of the story...and it just won't??? Maybe it's just my reading comprehension lol

Reading this book is the perfect balance to get rid of the stress I got from watching Stranger Things...omg

I'm so stuck with this book! Primarily because the narrator is unbearable, and the book is too pseudo-intellectual for my taste (which is clear reflection of my issue with the narrator) 😪

Charming, but a bit too long and stagnant for my taste. Will put back to my too read pile first. 😞

I feel like Joshua Ferris' goal in life is to make his readers feel a certain amount of schaudenfraude (sp?) in the stories. All I did so far was read and enjoy the misfortunes of characters, although the stories were a hit/miss for me, still enjoying it so far!

As someone who identifies as a sell-out because I work in advertising, and as someone who understands the conflict between my personal principles and my job, I truly, TRULY, want to identify with the protagonist.

But, wow, this woman is on a whole different level, and I can't.........
