Good writing just gives me goosebumps. The author could have said, " I tried not to throw up." She did not, but listen to what she did say: "I collapsed onto the black asphalt and tried to keep my stomach from coming out my mouth" (13).

I did not finish. It is probably a good book, I just could not get its hooks into me!

Okay. I have read a lot of fantasy and science fiction since I became a librarian, but I have not read anything like this.
This "being" has led its whole life waking up every day (hence the name Every Day) waking up as a different person every day: sometimes male and sometimes female. The range of experiences is wild; this being has woken up as all of the following: an obese person, a diabetic, an addict, and more

The premise behind this book intrigued me; a young girl is in an accident with her family,the rest of them die and she is left in a coma but her mind is still alive watching and trying to decide if she should stay on earth.

It reminds me of Sebold's The Lovely Bones-- Both of these books are written from such an interesting point of view.

I am really liking this book; however, I am not liking the printer's use of strange appostrophes...

I am intriqued by this young "white-looking" African American who wants to fly airplanes in the 1940's (WWII).
