I literally just started this book and I’m not going to lie it has me very intrigued! I really hope it sticks thru and doesn’t disappoint!

Ok so I’m actually hooked!!

Ok so I just started and I’m only 11% in but I’m like really excited about it idk! Like I hope it’s even better than my excitement and exceeds my expectations!

Ok so I know this book came out in 2014 but the writing style sucks, I started to the book because I want to see the show but wanted to compare the book to it, I am trying to hold on because the story is being dragged in my opinion and I am this close to DNFing.

A young girl who never experienced love let alone loved herself kept going back to a grown man who abused her young mind and her inexperiences, taking it to his advantages, despite after years of him keeping “distance” she kept going back to him because she didn’t learn to love herself, needed his “love” to feel something in herself which she still didn’t understand even when she was an adult.

Ok so I actually DNFed this book last year and I want to give it another chance, hopefully I can stick thru it, gonna do the immersive reading and hope that helps!

Pre-read: ok so I am actually excited about starting this book! Hopefully it turns out to be a five star read for me! Fingers crossed 🤞🏾

30% in and I’m getting a little bored! I am hopeful that it will pick up but ughhh it needs to hurry up because I do not want to DNF it.

Ok so far I’m intrigued with the story, it’s a little predictable but I’m going to finish the book and see if I truly liked it! I’m still hoping for a crazy plot twist at the end!

Ok so far so good, 30 percent in! The audiobook makes it 100 times better!
