finished reading Second Skin. somewhat difficult novel with a complicated chronology, although there's a very nice article (Greiner 1970) on JSTOR about Hawkes' use of colour as an organizing principle in this book.

I decided to read the English translations out of laziness, but now that I decided to read a few of the poems in the original French, I'm regretting my decision.

I have the attention span of a typical internet addict, so I've decided to put the rest of my reading on hiatus for Stoner and Satantango.

Finished the linear reading from chapters 1-56, and loved it. Now I'm going to start reading it in the order written in the table of instructions.

I keep putting off reading this book but in the interim periods I'm finding so much great stuff that it makes it hard for me to have to go back and slog through this.
