I needed to realize that when I died, I wanted my Friends credit to be way down on the list of things I had accomplished. 💔

Most famous people use ghostwriters, I don’t think Matthew did. I read his book and I can literally hear him speaking.

Those rehab centers he describes remind me of Mengele’s experiments. How can they exist? Matthew was experimented on, esp the Geneva one.

I started reading this before he passed away as he was so happy talking about it, going to different shows, and seemingly HEALED. Then he died. I couldn’t continue as it seemed to be so morose reading the intimate thoughts of someone so recently deceased, however, he did write those words and released them out into the world. So here we are.

It’s super easy to read and understand, and also very practical. The only recommendation would be to perhaps have pictures of the brain that it is discussing in a particular chapter in order to be able to follow it better. As I am not in the medical field at all, it is difficult for me to visual where the orbitofrontal cortex is.
