there have been many tales about Morgan le Fay; the supposed evil sorceress, who gave birth to her half-brother's (King Arthur) child. This is her story.

this is a change from all the "heavy" stuff I normally read, finding it both interesting and predictable at the same time.

enjoyable, nice change from my usual historical fiction and non-fiction

Ques to get into a habit are the most important

I just started this last night and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I understand a little about Dementia and Alzheimer's from my background in home health, but I had forgotten there are a few (very few) rare cases where it actually does get diagnosed when the person is young (like under 50).

I know this story is fiction, but it really does resonate with some stories today.

I got up to track 10 and had to turn it off, seemed really negative; I'm very empathic, so I have to be careful. Going to try the book instead, I've found that sometimes it's just the narrator of the book I have a hard time with, and I end up enjoying the book.

In this version of Esther's story, she is not the only wife of King Xerxes, but one among many wives and concubines, along with Xerxes children.

I picked up this book partly for the title, but what really caught my attention was this: History would call them the war of the Roses. But the story began with one woman's fury.....

the more I read and participate in class I find that there are lots of different things that were buried and coming to light and also how I think about some things differently then I used too.

liking the mix of soap op0era, mystery and now genealogy

I really appreciate that someone believes books do talk to you ( even if it's a fictional character)

7/31/23-putting on hold for awhile

i must admit that I first picked up this book because I thought it was about Elizabeth of York (assuming the title). Nevertheless, I have come to be drawn deeper into the world of the Plantagenets and enjoying it.

this is actually the second time I start the book, have gotten further then the first time and like that there is much more detail
