Enjoying the story but the casual racism toward darker skinned people is getting out of control. We might not be in a position to tell Chinese authors how to behave, but this is an American version published by a US company. Are we the readers just gonna let this slide?

I know it’s marketed as “inspired by Twilight”, but I don’t think “inspired” is the correct term here
