This thoroughly researched book is very engaging. I have decided that I like everything published by Oxford University Press. One could cite this book in a paper. It reads as easily as most popular nonfiction. I'm highly motivated to learn the subject matter. I think the book would still interest even a less thoroughly motivated reader.

My kiddo and I have been reading this book together at bedtimes for several months now. It has been a wonderful adventure to sink into together. I remember loving this story as a child. It is meaningful to see my youngest light up with feeling for the different rabbit characters. We have voices for each one.

Bechko's science fiction writing just seems to get better with every new project. Following the characters and world of the first Earth One Green Lantern, this book sees Harold Jordan witness Sinestro donning a yellow ring, and explores the lore of the guardians and yellow rings for this alternate universe. This book doesn't have the character exploration of the first. But it is still a great followup.

This book is fabulous. I've been reading it slowly to my youngest for several months, now. We both talk about the book in between reading it. They are deeply invested. I first read this book as a teenager. I'm enjoying it much more this time.

I'm reading this to my firstborn. My child is enjoying it very much. I am enjoying my child's enjoyment of it a great deal more than the book itself.
