Already one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.

Some essays are better than others, but even the ones that aren’t the best are still really, really good.

This is already one of the most important books I’ve ever read - and I’m not even halfway through it yet. If you’re in ministry of any kind, whatever it is you’re currently reading is not as urgent or important as this.

My chief complaint of the book, up to this point, had been that Nichols is great at diagnosing the problem, but offers little in the way of solutions. Thankfully, as the book draws to the close, those solutions begin to appear, and they’re solid.
