I refuse to let myself have empathy for this man, but I must say, this is a writer’s book. It is SHOCKINGLY good (esp. because so much of what he says/does is heavily conspiratorial, so I just assumed he couldn’t POSSIBLY be an intellectual. And knowing that he is one actually makes everything SOOO much worse).

I’d like to put it out there that I’m reading this now only bc I’m compulsive and insane. The libe just informed me that I can’t check anything new out until I return this super random POT I apparently took out in 2022??? Unclear why it took them 3 years to care, but I’m way too recalcitrant to NOT now accept this challenge and finish it in one sitting, you’re welcome. ✌🏼

It is unclear why I have this book in my possession in the first place, but I’m feeling depressed tonight, and therefore needed something self-indulgent to use as a distraction. Very effective!
