Picked this one up again after months of negligence. Not sure why I put it down, but I’m glad to have started again.

Some of the translations, in my opinion, are… interesting at best. Utu as revenge? Sure, but the negligence to provide context (I understand limitations in word count) depicts a different image

Never have I related so deeply to a character this early on as much as I’m currently relating to the protagonist and that SCARES ME

Both the motion picture and this manuscript have allowed me to gain insight into the differing perspectives within the civil rights movement. It's not Malcom X vs. Martin Luther King Jr but rather, different sides of the same coin.

It’s been an excruciatingly long time since I fell in love with a book this fast.

There is so much build up to nothing in this book.

This is such lazy world building
