This is one of the most poorly written books I've ever read. Nonsensical word choices, awkward narration, missing words, apostrophes where they don't belong, etc...

I've checked out some of the negative reviews and I'm shocked at how few people have mentioned it.

But the plot and characters are so unhinged and ridiculous that I cant look away from the train wreck.

I don't like friends to lovers unless it's done exactly like this and it becomes he falls first and he's been pining. Love this trope.

Problem is this book is dragging so hard. A monogamous romance doesn't need 450 pages. I'm less than halfway through and skimming pretty hard.

I also felt that In a Jam was too long but this seems worse.

Amazing so far. It's been so long since I really got in to a more serious book and it feels good.

It's not very good but I'll probably read the whole series anyway.

Decided to listen to the audio. Clay's narration is pretty damn good. Giana's is super flat and wooden unfortunately

I'm really trying here because I love shifter romances and this is supposed to be one of the best but Taryn is probably one of the worst pick me heroines I've ever seen.

Getting better. I don't like spousal abuse arcs. They're really frustrating and difficult for me to read. I'm interested enough to keep going though. This is much slower burn than I was expecting.

Been wanting to read some MC romance. These take place in Vancouver so yes lol.

I'm enjoying this a lot but it's definitely been a little triggering for me at times. Still, I think this might get a pretty good score when I'm done.
