I loved The Wednesday Sisters. I read it right after Mom died and there was so much of it that had been part of my life. She'd said she was going to read it next after the one she had started and never was able to.

So far, this one is having some of the same resonances -- especially Julie having to deal with her own mother's death.

So far, I am underwhelmed. Is it really necessary to talk about something for 20+ pages before they actually DO anything?

So far, not much of story, beyond 'Jane and Elizabeth get married.' Jane is sweet and pretty, Bingley's a peabrain. Elizabeth is intelligent and independent -- and that's an insult! Darcy is a socially inept misanthrope.
