I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Billie, and instead Vaughn is really off to a bad start instead. I’m already enjoying Billie a lot, and her growing friendship with DD (the horse).

Kind of getting out a reading slump, or this wouldn’t be taking so long. It’s a very easy read, though I keep getting the two girls mixed up.

I was mostly enjoying the first half of this. Dark romance is very hit or miss, and this one was riding in the middle. Definitely too much blood play in that last part for me though.

I think the writing/humor is just not to my taste here, but it’s still an easy read.

This is just okay so far, but very easy to read.

I’ve been too busy to read, when all I want is to keep going.

Relieved that I’m enjoying this as much as I am. This is so fun so far.

Maybe it’s because I haven’t read very many thriller/mysteries, but I’m enjoying this so far.

I really don’t know how I feel about this. It’s too wordy? Part of the artwork is kind of bothering me and I don’t think I like the main character, maybe.

It’s clear I’m in a slump because I normally eat up Noir’s books, can’t read them fast enough, and this one is so cute but I just can’t focus and it makes me sad.

I don’t know why this is going so slow for me, but it’s been so easy to put down. I already paused it once before, but I intend on finishing it this time.

I’m not looking forward to the reveal, I know it’s going to be bad. Will definitely be finishing this today.

I’m actually getting used to the writing, and not minding this so far.

I’m enjoying this a lot so far. I’m discovering that cozy fantasy might be for me.

Finally getting through this. It’s been a struggle to keep my interest for the first 150 pages.

Why is her apartment being broken into, and Sadie’s birth plan being in danger, taking a backseat to everything else? That feels rather important to me.

I understand that Lizzie is going through some awful shit, and there’s definitely more than we know going on, but I really can’t stand her. I don’t know that I’m going to want to read her book after this one.
I have said this before about this series, though, so it’s possible.
