Enjoying the book so far, but this sentence just about derailed the whole endeavor, "The blameless fruit of stupidity and human frailty was coming once again to scuff the soles of his shoes on the doormat of her home." Yikes! To be fair, it's a translated work so maybe it sounded better in italian.

Had to stop and return to the library to fulfill a reserve. Off you go, into the arms of another. But I'll be waiting. I'm quite enjoying you.

I like big books, but this one is very intimidating.

Seems an appropriate title for me after finishing "Blue Lard".
