Going to the Philippine Book Festival this weekend? :)

Hindi uubrang hindi ka manggigigil habang binabasa 'to. Distansya pa lang ang usapan—kung ulo ng tao ang point of reference, nasa dibdib ng Pilipinas ang Spratlys, habang nasa paanan iyon ng Tsina. Tsk, tsk, talagang sigà at apaw sa delusyon.

The Maiden and the Crocodile – hidden intention, not for the starry-eyed
The Dragon in the Bell – Chinoy parenting story

Terminós – trading memories; resigned air; for the contemplative.
Saturdays with Fray Villalobos – proselytizing with sated appetite turned a ghastly fare; for the foodie.

L' Aquilone du Estrellas (The Kite of Stars)
This titular story was fancy and verbose. Think of a tall tale gone through in elementary literature class, because (to an adult reader) nothing of the premise made sense from inception but it went on telling it for the adventure. Ending in a little melancholy, still reaching for a dream.
