Love this book so much already! I love Yash!

I wish Lily King got half the praise Sally Rooney gets. Her style is similar but feels more substantial to me. She and Elif Batuman are underrated imo.

Maybe I’m just old but there are so many characters to keep track of that I really think this book could’ve benefited from listing the names of the players and a brief summary of what they’re about. I’m a tad lost.

I think imma finish it here. It was taking too long to get to the romance and it’s just too British. Like show some emotion, please. Probably will put in DNF

I’m really enjoying it even if I wonder at the ethics of following in love with someone like this. Especially as a biracial person. Like…I dunno lol. You have a spat and boom crazy racism jumps out. Could not be me. But then again, I’m not half white so
