I’ve read eight letters so far (of 31). They are a quick read but I’m enjoying going slow to really think on them. They are very insightful!

I started the Bible in a Year podcast with Fr. Mike Schmitz in February. He is reading a different edition but I’m following along with this one.

I’m exhausted by the author’s manner of writing. I literally have to stop reading to mini-rant about it. ex: “The recently deceased firebrand Susan Sontag famously, if a bit hysterically, foretold the future of progressive cultural criticism and identified its principal target in her celebrated 1967 essay, “What’s Happening to America”. Almost every sentence is this tiresome. Okay, rant over.
