The book takes place on a First Nations reserve far north of the Great Lake. In the midst of a hard winter of cold and blizzards, the reserve loses all power, phone service, and internet connections. The people are now on their own to survive. Will all return to normal, or is this the Apocalypse? I'm 1/4 through and cannot yet tell. Suspense is rapidly building.
