I’m reading this before I read Clockwork Princess (since I don’t have it and can’t get it until January) and I just spoiled it for myself :))))) Apparently Jem became a silent brother...

I’m just done reading this. The first book was absolutely amazing, don’t get me wrong, but for some reason I keep losing interest. I loved the Legend series and I read all of it; however, with the whole Rose Society book two, I also lost interest. I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s whatever. The plot was great, although I feel like it was carried on for too long.

I’m going to die reading this for the third time...why do I do this to myself??

I started this yesterday! I’m almost done and it’s so so so so so so so GOOD! Not as good as Throne of Glass, but GOOD! Definitely getting five stars :)

Okay so I start off, and the title of the ship is Genesis 11. I then go onto my bible app and look it up. Genesis 11 is where the people try to build the tower of Babel, and guess what is the name of the corporation sponsoring the ship? Babel Communications. If this isn’t weird enough, the flight is trying to get to Eden, or God’s promise land to mine nyxia...

Pretty good so far, but the wording is a little weird

Her mother on the other hand, is spending ALL of the money she makes on her daughter and on making clothes for the poor to give to them for free, and then the poor laugh and scoff at her! Hester is just trying to be kind, but no!

Okay so I'm really mad at this point. Hester's KID is being ostracized from society because of her MOTHER. IT IS SCREWED UP. Hawthorne keeps alluding to something about Pearl (the kid) being even worse of a person than her mother, the town harlot!

I like this but I have no time to read it so it may be a while before I get back into this. I'm going to finish The Rose Society first.

I hate it. The townspeople, the "good" Puritans made her feel so bad that her baby became sick from her breast milk! I'm so mad at those hypocritical Puritans, and not to mention the women! They want to kill Hester! Like no! Her husband shipped her off to America and never came after her for years! You can't blame her.

Ughhhh. I hated the entire introductory Custom House. The first chapter and Hester Prynne, oh my gosh. I hate it. When I say I hate it, I mean I hate it like I hate the end of Empire of Storms (I am still not over this and will most likely cry if I think about Aelin) when Aelin is being whipped and then put in an iron coffin.

I haven't picked this up since school started back up, but since I'm going to have free time, I think I'm going to finish it tomorrow.

I've finally given up on Snow Like Ashes. This is a great change and so far (or should I say from page 1) this book is amazing. I'm very excited to read more.

This is awful so far. There is no connection to Meira, and the plot is "fast-paced" only because the girl narrates the story (first person) and jumps from action to action while dumping information on you and just making the story tedious to read. I'm probably quitting this to read more Marie Lu. No, not probably. Rose Society here I come!

I just went to the library and got this and I'm really excited!! The last book ended too much on a cliffhanger (I'm starting to think that writers do that since Rick Riordan has had such good outcomes with his--not a good thing though)....
