I don’t think I’ve ever felt this disappointed with a character before.
That must mean I am loving this book if I’ve connected this closely with a character.🤷‍♀️

When your first love comes back into your life unexpectedly, while you’re married to a great man, what do you do? How do you react? Especially when your husband was a friend that helped pick up the pieces at the end of that relationship and he knows the bond you both had. How are you supposed to feel?!

Almost halfway through my first Ali Hazelwood book and I’m anticipating reading another.
I’m loving the simplicity of the relationships with all the characters. It’s relatable, which makes it a comfort read.
The witty and sarcastic banter main character Olive has with interest Adam and her friends gives me a laugh here and there.
Love this book, so far😊

I’m not a big romance genre person, but this one has me laughing already at the wit and sarcasm between Dr. Carlson and Olive. Olive seems a bit neurotic but I’m liking her.
If I’m laughing already at just 50pgs in I’m going to like this one!

Midway update: So far, I’m not loving this one. I keep waiting for something to pop up but not yet. Maybe I’m just in anticipation because I love Freida’s books.
Nora, the main character, she’s annoying me with her whining sometimes. Hopefully I feel different at the ending.
