Wouldn’t consider this as primarily a romance, but what a great story. I LOVED this book! The last few chapters caught me completely off guard but made the entire premise make so much sense. Definitely worth reading!

Darla is finished with The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (Flavia de Luce, #1)

I thought this started out a bit slow but by the time I was halfway into the book I was eagerly reading on. Flavia, being quite the bright 11-year-old, was amusing & clever, although in remembering this lead character was only 11 at times I found the story a bit unbelievable.
