I read this a long time ago, and having forgotten virtually everything. Three chapters, it is WONDERFUL. I'm giggling at how well the author captures the feeling of being young. The dynamic between Claudia and Jamie is endearing and often hilarious. It helps, too, that I live so close to the MET now. Having been in the building, and explored its halls, it adds to the experience.

The first chapter laid down the groundwork: the steam engine, which started the industrial revolution, which started the separation of manufacturer from designer, which invented the discipline the design. Henry Cole's involvement in the first big design movement and the "Arts & Crafts" reaction is explored. REALLY interesting stuff.

Another stunning chapter. I'd known that we likely didn't have the first two chapters of Mosiah, but hadn't given much thought to what they were about. Bradley manages to reconstruct a likely narrative based on clues in the Small Plates. Impressive, and made me love the Book of Mosiah (and Benjamin) even more.
