Oh the book is getting good! It has been hard to make myself read the book slow and not rush through it.

I am liking the book so far. And I love the way Laurell is introducing us, the readers, to this world. It isn't as confusing as other book series has been.

This is another reread series for me. The first time I read the series I raced through the books as fast as I could. Now I am taking my time and I am still loving the book. In retrospect of having read the series before I am picking up on a lit of things I did not see before.

I half way like this book. The problem isn't in the writing. It is in how young the MC is. I didn't realize until after I started reading that this was basically a coming of age litrpg and I'm not a fan of coming of age stories. However I an interested in what happens so I'm going to keep reading.

Loving the book but I feel like I need an index to remember all the women's name

I do not know how much percentage I am through, just that I am at chapter 8. So I am listening to this book and so far it isn't bad. Yes I am a little miffed about who the bad guys are. And the person who narrator could slow down a bit in speaking. Otherwise I am enjoying the book.

All I am going to say in this update is that A) I love it so far, B) I can't wait to read what happens next, and C) I did NOT see that coming.

Still liking the book however I'm over the whiney girl routine.

So chapter 3 was good. I am comfortable with the writing style now. And I find I am starting to like the different characters. A few of them don't seem that complex or thought out but could be later on in the book. I do want to rush through the book and finish it but I am making myself take my mind with it so I can enjoy it better, after all one can only have a first read once!

Not a gold me until I finish it book but still decent enough reading.

So chapter 2 is getting more interesting. Still loving the book so far. I can kinda see a possible meeting point for some of the characters.

It looks like there is 1\4 left so I'm saying page 800. I'll have it finished by morning most likely.

Since there is no page numbers I am put 500 since I'm just over half way finished. I have read some of these on the computer but reading it in book form is so much better.

Doing a binge read tonight and tomorrow I want to get this book done by 4pm so that when I go to the library I can return it. Good thing this is a reread and not a fist time read!

I can see the way this story is shaping up and while a hottie read it is still won't fit the era.

The way the writer made women and men do easily talk to each other kind of bugs me but otherwise I'm good.

One can never go wrong with a re-read of Jane Austen. On a side note: Mrs. Norris is one of those people that I could do without in my life. I despise people that talks others into doing what they want done with little, to no cost to themselves and always take credit for anything good, even if they voiced a different idea beforehand. But yea it does make a great character though I am glad that it isn't a main one.

I like the idea of this book so far and I'm even liking the book and writing. What I am not liking are all the numbers that keep getting used. I get it, that is the main character's thing but it keeps sending me into mini rants each time she counts something. At which point I lose focus on the book and have to find my spot all over again.

I know that movies often get stuff wrong as well as the only time I have watched the mini series about Roots was like 12 or 13 years ago but I didn't realize that A.) they were Muslims and B.) they were educated. If the movie showed that then I really wasn't paying proper attention to it.
