Why is this book going by so fast?? 😱

I've had this book for YEARS, why did I wait so long? 😱🥺

I don't remember the last time I laughed this much reading, seriously.

This book is so cute and funny, I almost can't stand it.

I don't know what I expected from this book, but I would say it was definitely not this... Close to DNF-ing, honestly, but I feel like that would be unfair as the book isn't HORRIBLE, just not what I want.

I feel like Lou is who I aspire to be in a person. "I thought I'd already made it clear I don't give a rat's ass about being appropriate. Shall I remind you? There are two more verses to 'Big Titty Liddy'"

I swore I heard one of his teeth crack.

I think I'm going to enjoy this book. This is my type of humor, omg.

I've read a lot of good reviews of this book, I'm excited!

It took me forever to start this... but man am I loving it so far!

I'm in a definite reading slump, guys. I'm reading like 4 different books at the moment and not a single one of them is REALLY catching my interest. HALP.

So many quotable moments in these books, hahahaha.

Chapter 16, audio.

Curse this book for being addictive and me having to work at 7am... (it's currently 1am.....)

On Chapter 6, audio:

Talk about starting with a kicker. Main character shares that she's on the dance team, that she's in high school, that her sister and the whole cheerleading team was killed.... and that she's having an abortion. So we have some dead cheerleaders, a teacher who slept with a student, and a mystery. Hmmm.

Eve is talking to Mavis about the Oscars and it just hit me. What if that's the next target??? AHHHHHH

Gen: I just saw a squirrel die.

Gen: I'm scarred for life.

Gen: Oooooo
Ava: THAT WAS A JOKE!
Ava: DO NOT GET A SQUIRREL TATTOO!
Gen: Too late

I'm a good 30% through this book and I'm just not sure how I feel about it. I knew texting/email was going to be a major device for this book, but I did not expect it to be the ENTIRETY of the book. Who knows, maybe there will be some of the book that's not a text exchange. I'm only at 30%, I guess.
I don't feel any real attachment to the characters, though. Like I really don't CARE that Gen is doing the "hard cola."
