Just starting, having allowed enough time between the first book and this for my brain to recover. Taking heart from its average 4* rating...

Harrowing to read, but near impossible to put down

Had to stop due to misplacing the book for a long time - to be continued!

This man writes in the same style that my brain thinks. I can't explain it better than that. Completely enjoyable.

I'm sure you're supposed to feel sympathetic towards Ferney as you read this... I'm struggling!
