so far this is not good..seriously starting to believe that editors don’t exist anymore because there are so many things here that should’ve been caught and fixed..what’s happening..

i have never ever read anything like the 3rd story..whether i mean that derogatorily or complementary..i’m not sure

i have seriously never experienced such a level of second-hand embarrassment (which is the intended effect) that i’ve actually had to put this down several times while reading because i just can’t take it,, which is to say you guys need to read this!

so I’m not even 10 pages into this book, but i seriously need you all to read it!

this is soo the secret history dupe, which is not to say i’m not enjoying it so far, but that’s literally what this is

oh i need this book to never end actually..was enjoying it so much, had to stop to google ernaux, found out that she’s 1) a virgo and 2) pro-palestine, so the experience of reading this just keeps getting better

a premise so interesting, i simply had to drop everything i was reading and pick it up – so far, i am enraptured

at a point in the semester where all I have the energy to do is rot in bed and read fanfic..

i am so parasocial with this man..if one can be parasocial with a dead author

only like 3 pages into De Profundis and i fear it’s gonna make me cry..
