Ugh I really hate how “snarky” the author tried to make the dialog. It just makes the characters sound juvenile and full of themselves.

It was going somewhere!! And then it devolved back into sex. Oyy.

Idk if I can continue. It’s just one sex scene after another. There are hints of plot but nothing actually happens besides a lot of sex.

Idk if I want to finish this. There is no plot. Lots of banging. Nice spice but no plot. Character development is also taking a bit long.

Mostly just smut. I thought a couple of times that there was going to be some plot/conflict (Amber’s jealousy, red pills, etc…) but then nothing happens. Just another sex scene.

The dialogue. It’s so bad. It doesn’t flow, it doesn’t sound natural. It’s flat. It’s all “I’m sorry” and “I love you” over and over again. Plus, when multiple characters are in agreement, they ALL have to contribute. Also, a lot of the action is summarized instead of being experienced. I still want to know how it’s all going to turn out but the dialogue is hard to get through sometimes.

As soon as Dane said “57 times,” I knew what was going on.

The most monotonous and whiny dialogue I’ve ever read.

The dialog. Good God.

I really thought (based on the description and an insta ad) there would be more stalking “excitement” but it’s almost a minor detail. I’m also not too into what Rune and Scarlet are into so the spice isn’t really great for me. I want to like Rune more than I do. So far it’s a 3 stars for me.

I have been waiting for the action to really begin in this book and it didn’t really get going until 80%!! But it’s so good!!

The scene with Lachlan and his family is the best one so far… all the amity has been too abundant and too cringey and the dialogue is 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The plot would be moving faster if there wasn’t so much smutt fluff. I don’t mind the spicy scenes and I get that she has 7 mates, but not every chapter has to have a sex scene!

So many grammatical errors… but I’m enjoying it so far

Def just here for the plot now. The sex scenes are written well, I’m just not into Daddy kink, praise kink, or MM. I do like all of the characters though.

I’m not sure I like the smut so far… not really my cup of tea. And the dialogue feels not realistic? Immature?

Omg there are so many mates and I love them all! Wren’s dialog seems a bit naive and basic but that’s the only hang up for me so far!

This series shreds my heart so bad!

Some parts are still pretty funny but some “funny” parts seem a bit forced and unnecessary.

Too much insta-everything for me… and then things keep taking weird turns out of nowhere lol

Did the author need to reach a word count? So many things are over-explained and nothing important happens every other chapter…. I just want to finish this already!!

Could’ve ended at 50%…

80% smut, 15% verbal worship, 5% plot. Come onnnnnnnn. This sounded so promising and even started out interesting but now I’m skipping through most of the scenes and I hardly care about characters because they’re all just “I love you so much I’d do anything for you” all the time.

What a missed opportunity!! Author could’ve had a great action scene where Sierra was rescued but instead we just cut to the hospital scene after the fact. I would’ve LOVED to see Forrest in action! And as her hero!

Not enough humor for me, both characters very focused on career ambitions and author goes very in depth. Forrest is likeable but nothing about him really made a lasting impression for me.
