I hate that this series took several books to start being good and I hate that Im genuinely enjoying them now… *sigh*

It literally took everything in me to focus on any other book besides the house of devils series bc those books have me in such a chokehold and I didn’t realize how bad it was until I finished the 4th and had to face the music that there’s still no release date for book 5…

This series is so. Fucking. Good.

Re reading before the second book comes out next month… curious to see how my opinion changes the second time around

This is the best book in the series so far, already, and I fear it’s definitely because I’m getting the yearning I crave but also because everyone’s finally telling Tory how much she can suck/how much of a bitch she is 😅

I really hope this is the book where Tory stops pissing me off so much but I kind of doubt it

I can’t figure out exactly how to describe this series.. I think it’s my favorite bad series to read..?? Yeah, I think that’s a good description. Im avoiding reading the 4th house of devils book because once I devour that one I’ve got to wait who knows how long until the next one gets published and that makes me want to scream.

Anyway, these read so easily and I’m invested in these immature characters

I think this is definitely my favorite so far in the series which is amazing for me because especially with big books like this I always fear getting bored/losing plot the deeper I go

The hobs in this series are my actual favorite I love them sm 🥲

Soooo I decided to keep reading this series 🤷🏼‍♀️ sue me. I still don’t know exactly how I feel about these so far but like.. I’m gonna finish this one and probably at least read the third and fourth.. that’s when everyone says it gets really good?!

Me: “I love reading it’s so amazing and relaxing”

Also Me: if this book doesn’t end on a good note with all this shit getting straightened out I will have a heart attack and keel over.

I’m stressed and I’m so unrealistic because I just want there to never be any miscommunication 😭
