Obsessed with this book — going to refer to it forever!! Perfect resource as an educator, parent, or psychologist

The fact that I actually read 379 pages of a textbook, marking it up and taking notes on it, shows how good this is haha

Love that this book is set in Portland (the whole reason why I bought this book at Powells bookstore in the first place) buuuuut I am not loving the storyline.. it’s cheesy and semi predictable but we will see how I feel as it continues

Love how the author ties in therapy stories with neurology stories and the explanations behind why the brain does what it does in certain scenarios

“You do not own the one you love” from the Fufi story was so so cute!!!

Loving this story so much.

Her vertical storage is amazing!! Ensuring everything has a home is always helpful. Taking everything out and keeping one item in one place instead of in each room (like scissors, lighters, etc)

I looooove the idea of writing a letter to your child every year starting from birth.. the cutest/sweetest thing and I want to remember that idea forever

I also love the idea of decluttering by categories instead of rooms like most books state.. because you won’t realize how many of the same items you have if you do it by room!
