I thought this was going to be a silly, fun novella—perfect for the season, but consider me surprised. These words are delectable. Poetic prose-esque magic littered across the page. They’re eating me up, and I am really enjoying it.

Honestly, there’s a pretty brutal edge to some of the sentiment, which I can also appreciate because life is rough. I respect when that is acknowledged in the media I encounter.

Some of the writing is a little clunky, but this book is so fucking funny. I’ve actually found myself making a noise or covering my mouth or pressing my lips together. It’s kind of weird how entertained I am by it.

I wondered why the author sounded familiar. I actually didn’t read You, Again because I heard such mixed reviews, so I’m very curious going into this one. Perhaps it convinced me to read all of this author’s releases.

This book just has me a bit confused because I don’t know any woman who refers to her lower body as a “groin” that’s such a masculine concept to me. And also, her name is Clarence. I was almost excited for a gay romance and now I’m just confused
