3.5 stars. Not sure why it was so hard to get into this book, maybe my reading mood. I did enjoy all the cooking that Nolan had going in this book. And the last third of the book I did get invested in. The little bit of attraction between Drew and Jillian definitely added interest.

I’m listening on audio book. Bono reads it himself, cool! I found the early stories interesting, of the band members’ childhoods in Ireland, Bono and Ali’s love story. Theirs is a rare , long marriage among celebrities! The stories behind the earlier songs are so interesting to me, I’ve loved some songs of theirs since teens. It gets a little boring later, famous people, social justice causes, on and on…

This was such a good story! I’ve had it on my TBR for awhile, because of Carmen Miller’s videos. 😊 She rates it as one of her all time favorites. I’m personally going to rate it 4 stars, it WAS really sweet, but I don’t think I’ll ever reread it. One of my favorite parts of the story is all the sweet, well intentioned but bumbling older people! 😊

DNF. Just a little too technical and complicated for a casual hobbyist. But I did read some good tips in some of the chapters.

I enjoyed this one more than the first. The characters have grown on me some. Again, I liked the “in the past” storyline better than the modern day one. Something this author does well is the silly, one-liner family humor. 😊 Reminds me of my own family, in a good way!

I'm looking forward to following Nico as a grown young man, and he obviously doesn't know yet that Don Franco is his biological father.
