Every now and then a book comes along and is so up your alley, politically/socially/emotionally/interest wise, and it isn’t disappointing!!! I am racing through this, so lyrical and full of big complicated emotions. Like… this is great so far!

Already floored by the opening chapters. The attention to detail and care for subject is so powerful. Hearing about Black elder gays in Eltham and Greenwich, or just south east in general, coming from a place of knowing these roads and feeling the life around them being so straight, is just such a jaw dropping and powerful revelation. Like whewwwwww !
