I find it so stupid that Cal wishes to bring the Morellis down just because they killed his grandfather. The man who obviously hated him. Why are you focusing energy on that with everything that’s going on.

He says Cal is “innocent” but then he’s like “no Clemenza is innocent”. So which one is it? Arghhhh!

I don’t know but at this point I’m rooting for Dune even tho he’s not the main love interest. He’s pretty cool.

With a family like this one I’m surprised Will is a normal high school student.

So far the most gloomy book of the series. Jake’s past is so fucking sad. And I thought Lucas had it worse but no, Jake wins the crappy childhood and abusive environment.

How weird to see such a gloomy and pitiful Jake when in previous books he came off as strong, supportive, easy-going, and funny.

I’m surprised Lucas is still wondering if everyone at the ranch is rude when he’s the one who came to the ranch with the intension of selling everything which would mean the same people he complains about would lose their jobs.

Damn, Trace managed to hold off until his mid forties but folded like a chair as soon as Wolfe asked him to not leave.
