Jonathan Beck is finished with Beginning Biblical Hebrew: A Grammar and Illustrated Reader
What bad can I say about this book? I’ve been teaching and tutoring from it for years. It’s not ideal for self-study, but is invaluable with a solid processor. It’s also a great, quick introduction to linguistic ideas without shoving them down your throat. The comics are great!

Lectures in Old Testament theology, geared for graduate students, but basically reads like a series of sermons. Merging scholarship with pastoral ministry. Good stuff.
