I liked the first 50 pages and the short chapters. And the writing wasn’t horrible.

But I should have DNF this. I didn’t believe in the characters’ chemistry. The dialogue was, at times, random and more unnatural than usual. The third act was rushed in my opinion.

I found myself disliking the book the more I read.
