Flying through this book, it's astonishing the archaic atrocities that are occurring in this day and age.

Love that Ken'ishi's character has changed after the events of the first book. There's a natural progression to the character that makes this one even more intriguing to read. Enjoying it more than "Heart of the Ronin," and I would re-read the first one again without hesitation.

About to get to the section on focusing the mind and meditation. It's been so long since I've meditated regularly.

Just finished a massive chunk that analyzed subordination in sentences. The detail of this book is off to an astonishing start.

Lots of broad strokes so far. Can't wait for more detailed suggestions that I can tell are coming. Great analogy comparing blogging to dancing. At first you're going to be awkward and feeling quite vulnerable, then you learn new moves and start to feel more comfortable.

Thomas Fowler is on page 62 of 224 of The Soul of Leadership: Unlocking Your Potential for Greatness
Loved the intro, some of the details are a bit too similar to the broader statements. As a result there's a repetitive nature forming, but that's how good habits are formed; hearing te right things over and over until they are second nature. Deepak Chopra is proving an overall good read so far.

Enjoying it, but man alive I'm seeing what everyone was saying about his over describing. It's not that the description isn't vivid or picturesque, it's that so much of what he describes are things that I know I don't have to care about in the slightest for the plot or characters to move forward.

The end of chapter one: "I have found that-just as in real life-imagination sometimes has to stand in for experience." God bless you, Steve Martin.
