Finished chapter on Pure Intention. Learned that Right intention is ok, but Simple intention is better, seeking God while abandoning the result to Him in faith.

Paul and Jessica are assimilated into the Fremen world.

Finished Book One: Dune. Starting Book Two: Muad’Dib.

Mostly in line with the movie, but much more internal dialogue, and some key insights about family history. Also, the “mentat” concept seems more prominent in the book than the movie.

Still relevant today

Lots about sidewalks and parks, and a disdain for housing projects.
