Got this from jkt bbw event, its cover pop up on the instagram photo.. I really like it, then search about the book and got satisfying synopsis.. pluss good review from book reviewer who I've been following. The package from bbw event just arrived the day before yesterday.. I start digging this one rather than comic/graphic novel because I still can feel the excitement when my jastiper told me she got all six books❤

it's a bit like harry potter? when I get the sense of it, my dislike grew.. I hope not.

Just read the introduction. I regret I read it first. It's the most boring and too detail and making me not interested. I read horror comic, I don't need to read about baseball. And I don't need person told how the reader must feel about the events in the book. It's introduction not a review. And the intro is not fluid maybe because technical baseball explanation, or I just too tired now. Whatever..

I've already read Fahrenheit 451.. and stop in this page, maybe I forget where I put the book. Wrote in 1953, the story is picturing dystopia world where there's no book allowed, I feel science fiction in here and a bit philosophical thing. Also I feel a bit new age aura and the scene where Montag and his new friends surrounded the fire recall a picture from Black Hole graphic novel.
I think it's a good story.

For the lack of my history (cultural) background, I can't connect with any gods and goddesses or famous legend characters in here. I will feel stupid (in the future) if I'm pointing my finger to the translator (or books) because of reading frustration. I'm still reading..

First book from the collection that I try. I can read it fair enough, still coping the language. I'm trying to follow the poet flow to understand what this is because the editor is simply put pieces without explanation. I'm new to pastoral poetry, it is like haiku in explanation. The words are beautiful nature things but I still don't feel the beauty of it in me YET. Hehe..

untuk kesekian kalinya saya tampak berjodoh dengan novel agatha christie.. bagaimana? sebelumnya saya membaca "Drama Tiga Babak" yang merupakan kasus Poirot dan di dalamnya ada tokoh Satterthwaite... tidak disangka saya berlari ke tokoh ini lagi di novel agatha berikutnya.. saya bahkan tidak membaca sinopsisnya dan menemukan pria tua itu dalam buku ini :D

Ternyata bahasanya dalam bahasa Inggris bagus dan mudah dimengerti but still classic. Jadi berminat membaca ulang seri Sherlock Holmes dalam bahasa Inggris. And these first pages already show my type sense of humor

It's not over yet.. but I've already miss them.. hmm..

I found amusing how Passepartout thought about Fix and Fix conversely. Jules Verne.. a classic with modern touch..
