I am so late in reading this book. Not only in a sense that it came out in 2021.
But in a sense of "I am too old for this sh..."
It is predictable (it's not particularly bad, afterall it is inspired by the romcoms),
So far the references are classic and even there it is quite a cliche (what about the recent romcoms, tha were out before the book was obvsly - Set it Up, Broken Hearts Gallery, How to be Single ???)

I can't dnf it at 88% but lord do i need patience

This books is really keeping me away from my trying to do 52 books

As a person who knows French, it disturbs me that the editor didn't check the transcription and transliteration for some of the names. I understand that it was translated from German and the translator is not obliged to know that Haussmann would become Осман, but I think that editor and proofreader should have looked it up.

Time to re read it after 20 years or so
