Frankl explores meaning persuasively, but his comments on suicide so far have missed the point. Ideas such as: a suicidal person thinks they are solving a problem, but suicide isn't a solution. But what of the person who knows it is not a solution, but to whom it becomes seemingly inevitable; the person who balances the sheets and knows there is meaning even in suffering, but whose reason falters afore the compulsion
