such a beautiful book i can’t stop sighing at how wonderful and delicate and enchanting the language is, it’s definitely something I wish I could write myself, to appeal to the depths of the earth, the density of the body, the well of the universe. am looking forward to rereading it already, so lyrical and poetic, like a song from a muted dream

to be really honest i think the synopsis is very misleading and deliberately so for branding it as a dark academia novel, which in a way it is but also not exactly in the extent and direction the synopsis is leading us to believe

it’s a fascinating read so far but also awfully long like please don’t expand the same thing that you have just eloquently described in a paragraph into a span of several pages just to make one point, i get it, and i do like the writing style but when this drags on for more than a few hundred pages one is understandably exhausted. Very vivid and apt imageries, but again too many metaphors slung into one paragraph
