Lisa Jewell fan here. I’m struggling with this. And it’s all because I dislike this male lead so thoroughly that I can’t stand reading about his shenanigans. YET, I won’t stop reading as I can’t wait to read his comeuppance.

This promises to be a fantastic read! I was right in the story from page one. A debut author, he’s now on my fave author’s list with just 25% read of his first book.

About a third in and I’m really liking this book. I’ve read one other book by this author and I enjoyed it as well. Looking forward to working my way through her backlist.

I’m about halfway through and I’m enjoying this more than I thought I would. I’m not a fan of super heroes - at all. But I love this author’s writing and finally decided I had to give it a try.

I’m having a hard time with this one. It’s my first Stout book and, although I’ve been assured that it works well as a standalone, I’ve missed all these characters’ past lives from the previous entries in this series. I’m contemplating stopping.

Slow start but younger brother Ivan has caught my attention.
