Great book for anyone who works with children. Understanding sequential processing of the brain is essential for teachers and for anyone who has experienced trauma.

This was chosen for our HV book club.

Reading this book again as a “mother/daughter” book read. I loved it when I was her age and am looking forward to the discussions on the themes of friendship, family, leadership, mans destruction of nature, oppressive societies, and freedom. Love that she wants to read it and thank you Netflix for making this into a short series for a new generation of readers.
