Every shade of red
Lovely retelling of Robin Hood's story. I really liked both the general vibes and the characters

The Coven
Enjoyed the supernatural element, but by the end I was more confused than anything else.

Molly's Lips
The emotional rollercoaster really caught me off guard (in a positive way). I loved Molly's thoughts and her struggles, I even shed a few tears

New Year
Loved the setting, 50s in San Francisco's Chinatown. Quick but great insight in the life of chinese-americans in those years, and even if the queer theme was more teased than anything, it felt realistic. Only wished it was longer.

1600, art studio in Amsterdam. Constantjin is a perfect student – he never gets distracted by the women posing nude as models. He might get distracted by something else...
Witty, fun, and more light-hearted than other stories, it was a sweet read.

It's the 70s and Dee likes skating, and pride and prejudice. She doesn't like kissing.
I wasn't immediately sold on the story, as I kept wondering what was "special" about Dee, but once she starts talking about how she feels about kissing and sex and so on... Asexuality is less of a popular topic in queer spaces and it's nice to see Dee in love but asking herself questions about what she really likes.

1717, Virginia colony. Two girls running away from marriage and towards each other.
Cute story. I liked Clara a lot, her adventurous souls and quick wit. I'm not a big fan of the instant-love trope tho, and this didn't carry as much emotion as the story before it.

First story is a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood set in Mexico during the war, around 1870. I really liked it: I liked how the queerness was included in the story, the choice of setting and characters, the hint of supernatural here and there. The author's voice was powerful and you could easily feel the fear, the rage and the longing of Emilia. Lovely story

And his Soul besought him to depart, but he would not, so great was his love. And the sea came nearer, and sought to cover him with its waves, and when he knew that the end was at hand he kissed with mad lips the cold lips of the Mermaid, and the heart that was within him brake. And as through the fulness of his love his heart did break, the Soul found an entrance and entered in, and was one with him even as before.

'But why will he not dance again?' asked the Infanta, laughing.

'Because his heart is broken,' answered the Chamberlain.

And the Infanta frowned, and her dainty rose-leaf lips curled in pretty disdain. 'For the future let those who come to play with me have no hearts,' she cried, and she ran out into the garden.

'Are not the rich and the poor brothers?' asked the young King.

'Aye,' answered the man, 'and the name of the rich brother is Cain.'

And the young King's eyes filled with tears, and he rode on through the murmurs of the people, and the little page grew afraid and left him.

'Conversation, indeed!' said the Rocket. 'You have talked the whole time yourself. That is not conversation.'

'Somebody must listen,' answered the Frog, 'and I like to do all the talking myself. It saves time, and prevents arguments.'

'I am rather afraid that I have annoyed him,' answered the Linnet. "The fact is, that I told him a story with a moral.'

'Ah! that is always a very dangerous thing to do,' said the Duck.

And I quite agree with her.

'What a silly thing Love is,' said the Student as he walked away. 'It is not half as useful as Logic, for it does not prove anything, and it is always telling one of things that are not going to happen, and making one believe things that are not true. In fact, it is quite unpractical, and, as in this age to be practical is everything, I shall go back to Philosophy and study Metaphysics.'
