i love emily henry!

i’ve definitely outgrown YA but i will forever love nina lacour so when i saw this (the only one of her books i havent read) i had to get it

this is further than i’ve ever made it in this book and it may be picking up? just a bit

i’m giving this book ONE MORE SHOT. i Will (manifesting) finish this book, no matter how much it pains me. GODDD how it a scooby doo inspired book so bad it’s a disgrace to the original source material

literally so hooked, keep picking it up everytime i have a spare minute

i want to like this!! i really do!! but… i don’t… and that was BEFORE the masturbation scene

a gazillion pop culture references (which is a gazillion too many) and the characters don’t speak like normal human beings… but rosemary is the kind of character that makes my heart hurt and i’m gonna stick with this til the end

going to finish this godforsaken book if it kills me

giving this one another shot! i did really like the story and everything, but it really took awhile to get into the games and the action, so i just put it down and never picked it back up

having to pause in the middle of my reading to google who the new character introduced is, because this book is under the assumption that i read a comic book from 2015, even though there was no need to introduce a specific villain this far in the story.... hmm. certainly a Choice.

wow it Still hurts my heart that they are Not canonically endgame. like jj abrams already brought gracie into the world, he had to make it worse? (that’s a joke, i don’t have any opinions on gracie abrams actually)

anyway 100 pages in and i’m already Bored i’m so sorry once SW books introduce new characters and expect us to care about them i’m Out!

havent read a book in a million years

okay my problem with this the first time around (dnf-ed around 140 pages) was that i went into it wanting it to essentially be scooby-doo fanfiction. it is not! so i will start again with a far more open mind!
